A holistic treatment ensures that the client is treated as a whole (mind. body and spirit) to enable his/her body to facilitate it’s own healing to achieve rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. A treatment is as unique as the client and will be what he/she needs it to be on the day of treatment, ensuring that they will leave the session ready to take on their day. Intuition, meditation and presence are of key importance for Jules whilst carrying out any healing therapies.
A session will involve a brief health history followed by the chosen treatment. All treatments can be integrated and can involve many different techniques such as percussion, limb manipulation, body dialogue work, stretching, breathing, facial massage, ear candling, Indian head massage and of course the classic Swedish massage techniques. Treatments can also be taken as an individual session and do not have to combined at all. It is your treatment and therefore totally your choice.
Jules holds a Practitioner Diploma in holistic massage, anatomy, physiology and pathology from The Massage Training Institute (MTI) and ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council). She trained over two years with Anja Saunders and Katyayani at The Academy of Natural Health in Covent Garden, London to attain her practitioner qualification in 2006 and continued to gain further skills with On-Site Chair Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hands Free Massage and Thermal Auricular Therapy (Hopi ear candling). She is currently studying aromatherapy and will become qualified to use aromatherapy oils within her massage work by the end of Spring 2019.
